An amazing 3 day great wall camping adventure combining the highest great wall around Beijing with one of the best preserved wild great wall sections.A once in a lifetime experience and a real treat for amateur photographers.
Itinerary
Day1:
Private car to the start of the hike where we will distribute all camping gear needed for this trip. After a lunch at the local farmhouse we ll spend most of the day hiking up towards our first camping location. It' s a beautiful trek trough the Beijing mountains. In the early evening we ll pitch our tents at the Highest great wall tower of Beijing. Sleeping on the wall at this spot is for sure the best great wall experience you can have as Sunset and sunrise are truly amazing here.
Day2:
Hike down on the wall from long valley and up again on the very well preserved staircases of Chenciabo great wall. At our camping place we ll bbq some duck and drink some great wall wine while enjoying a fantastic scenery!For sure another highlight of this great wall trek!
Day3
An 8 km hiking on the great wall will bring us to a farmer house where we can enjoy a late lunch and take our bus back to Beijing.

During Ming Dynasty, four km south of the Great wall they restored an old city, because that local area is like a long sweeping Valley, they give this City the name Long Valley City.
Through this area is channelled most of the traffic approaching (Peking) Beijing from the North. This was also the natural pass through the mountains fought over during times of war.
