Jiankou is a though but amazing hike that offers one of the best Great Wall scenery one can experience. The Western part is know as one of the most dangerous parts of the wall only accessible with good climbing gear. We are heading east to Zhengbeilou (991m) where the most spectacular pictures have been shot and continue to the highest point of At 1029 meters (3375 feet. The view from here is also amazing, allowing you to see the entire Mutianyu Great Wall plus much of Jiankou as well. This hike should definitely be on you list of things to do.
