Saihanba prairie is a haven for flowers. Saihanba in Mongolian means beautiful flower plateau. Saihanba grassland has many unknown colorful flowers whose colors are different in each season, and even within a single day. Flowers bloom all year round. The most famous flower in Saihanba is Trollius. Trollius blossom is prettiest in July; the whole meadow is like a gold-dotted carpet. There also are red Copihue (Chilean Bellflower) and snowy white Paeonia.
In the summer, it is cool in the Saihanba grassland. Here, one can see under the blue sky and white clouds there are horses, cows, and sheep on the vast grasslands. Summer is the most beautiful season in the Saihanba grassland, as one can freely enjoy sunshine, flowers and luxuriant grass.
