Detailed Itinerary

From our meeting point our van will head North East for about 2 hours to the border of Beijing and Hebei province. We start our hike on the west side of the Jinshanling Great Wall and walk through fields and over hill ridges with fantastic views on the Wild  Jinshanling Great Wall.

45 minutes into the hike we reach  an authentic farmhouse tucked away in a valley right next to Great Wall.  The farmhouse family has been living here for 3 generations and will prepare a great lunch for us.

We hike down the crumbled section of the Wild Jinshanling for about 30 minutes till we reach the most famous  and partly restored section of the Great Wall.  Here you can see how the Great Wall of China looked like during the Ming Dynasty.

We continue our hike all the way up to the General tower with its intoxicating views over all 67 watch towers of the Jinshanling Great Wall.  We take our time for some amazing pictures and continue our hike down on the Great Wall.
